Audience: New and existing proctors for university exams.
Problem: Professors, students, and faculty count on proctors to ensure academic integrity. The university's department of integrity created a pool of proctors to monitor exams.
As the program expanded, the department wanted to ensure proctors were well-prepared to handle common integrity violations.
I collaborated with the department director to create a three-hour training. This session was purposefully facilitated as three hours since proctors would often monitor exams that were just as long.

Prior to the training, 80% of proctors felt uneasy about their responsibilities due to lingering questions and misunderstandings of procedures. After this training, 90% of proctors felt unified and aligned.
Overall, proctors developed a sense of community with the common mission to ensure academic integrity for the university.
